Washington Mystics rookie Lucy Olsen is enjoying the off-season to the fullest. On her Instagram story, the guard posted a picture of herself in a purple bikini, with the caption “Adventuring.”

She was selected as the 23rd overall pick by the Mystics in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Olsen played mostly off the bench but had certain moments of brilliance, including a career-high 19 points against the Minnesota Lynx.

After the 2025 WNBA season concluded, Olsen announced that she would play for the Townsville Fire in Australia’s WNBL during the off-season. Throughout the WNBA season, the 22-year-old received valuable guidance from her veteran teammate Stefanie Dolson, who had helped her find her footing in the league. As of now, Olsen also continues to promote her brand “Basketball is Fun,” which she started during her time at Iowa.
