Oak Grove High School center Caroline Bradley has given her thoughts on some of the top college basketball programs. On Saturday, Aug. 23, women’s collegiate hoops reporter Talia Goodman published an article on On3 wherein she interviewed Bradley amid the ongoing recruitment race for her.
Goodman asked Bradley for her thoughts on some of the premier collegiate basketball teams that have recruited her, which included Kim Mulkey’s LSU Tigers, Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks, and Cori Close’s UCLA Bruins, to name a few. Other programs that have recruited her include the Kentucky Wildcats, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
When talking about coach Close’s Bruins, Bradley admired her team’s knack for playing in the post, which is a priority for the Oak Grove, Los Angeles, native.
“It’s been good. I love coach Cori. She plays through the post. She believes in a post-play style. She’s just a really, really good human and they’re a really good staff,” Bradley said.
Moving on to Mulkey’s Tigers, Bradley said they have been actively recruiting for quite some time now.
“Coach Mulkey and her staff are great people, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them. They’ve recruited me since probably about the eighth grade. It’s just been cool to kind of grow and learn with them. It’s been a really cool experience,” she said. “I’ve known them for a long time, and just watching them transform the program from before she got there until now has been really cool to see.”
Bradley also lauded Staley and her Gamecocks, saying:
“Coach Staley is great. Once again, she believes in a play style of playing through the post and things like that, which is really important to me. So, that’s been super great too.”
Bradley now enters her junior year of high school hoops in the 2025-26 season as a four-star prospect and is ranked at No. 5 among all of the recruits in the class of 2027, per 247Sports.

Caroline Bradley details what’s important to her when it comes to picking a college basketball program
In the same article by Talia Goodman of On3, Caroline Bradley detailed some of the factors she considers when she learns more about a college basketball program. For her, it boils down to where she can see herself best fit in, while keeping in mind the place where her family can watch her comfortably.
“I’m definitely relationship-oriented. Play style, honestly, throughout the recruiting process, is going to be really big… Somewhere that my family can get to is going to be important as well,” Bradley said.
