In the 24/25 season, Perdue averaged a very impressive 20 points per game, adding 2.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, shooting 41.5% from the field. In March 2025, Perdue was named the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Year, becoming the fifth player in program history to earn Horizon League Player of the Year.

Five Potential Landing Spots for Mickayla Perdue

    Notre Dame

Notre Dame could be on the lookout for an experienced guard as they lost Olivia Miles this offseason. One of the nation’s best guards, Miles, had originally declared for the WNBA draft but withdrew to enter the transfer portal. Notre Dame will be looking to replace her, and Perdue’s experience will serve them in good stead.

    Harvard

The Harvard Crimson lost their elite guard, Harmoni Turner, to the WNBA draft, and head coach Carrie Moore will be looking to replace her. In the 24/25 season, Turner averaged 22.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. This output will be sorely missed, and Moore will have to replace it with something similar.

    UConn

Geno Auriemma just won his 13th national championship with UConn, but he’ll have to defend his title next without some of his winning team. Star guard Paige Bueckers is leaving for the WNBA, where she’s projected to be the overall number one pick. UConn also lost sophomore guard Qadence Samuels this week, and Perdue could be a replacement option.

    UCLA

There is a mass exodus in the UCLA locker room as they lost six players, including the entire freshman class, to the transfer portal. Junior guard Janiah Barker and junior forward Londynn Jones are among those that entered the portal. Cori Close, the reigning Coach of the Year, could be looking to the portal to seek replacements.

    USC

USC are losing Kiki Iriafen to the WNBA, and the impact would have been softened if Juju Watkins didn’t tear her ACL. The reigning Naismith college player of the Year could miss the entire 25/26 season, and head coach Lindsay Gottlieb could use Perdue’s experience and abilities next season.
