IN PIC: Kim Mulkey’s Former Standout Poses in Red Bikini With 2-Word Message

Former LSU Tigers guard and now Arizona State Sun Devils senior Last-Tear Poa recently enjoyed some time off with friends. Poa, during the 2024-25 campaign, played for Kim Mulkey’s Tigers, averaging two points, one rebound, and 1.9 assists.

The upcoming season will possibly be her last in her collegiate career. But before the schedule kicks off, Poa has been hanging out with friends. She recently posted a picture of herself in a red bikini on Instagram.

“Gang gang,” she captioned the post.

In April this year, Poa announced that she’d transfer to the Arizona State Sun Devils. The program recently appointed Molly Miller as its head coach. Before that, Miller coached the Grand Canyon Antelopes from 2020 to 2025.

On an episode of ‘It’s A Cole World’ podcast in July 2025, Poa talked about what made her change programs and join the Sun Devils. The Australian native revealed that Miller’s joining Arizona had a major impact on her decision.

“Honestly, it was really coach Molly,” Poa said. “I’m always the type to follow the coach. I don’t really care about programs, and I think just like understanding the college system over here, it’s more than just a program you know.”

Poa said that she valued the determination shown by Coach Miller in pursuing her. It showed her that the program really wanted her to be a part of the team, and that’s exactly what she needs in the last stretch of her college career.

She stated that Miller has an energy that she believes is best suited for a player like her. The consistency that the coach showed while constantly being in touch with her before she made her decision was something Poa appreciates. Now a part of the Arizona program, she feels grateful to be in the new setup.

Last-Tear Poa filed a lawsuit against USCIS

During a conversation with Flau’Jae Johnson on the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ podcast, Poa talked about her NIL struggles. As an international athlete, she has issues getting NIL deals, as the agency denied her visa application that would have made her eligible for NIL deals.

“I did it because, like my platform, it’s not easy to get it (the NIL deals as an international player). I think it’ll be a great opportunity for people behind me that’s coming up to earn the money they worked hard for,” Poa said.

Going against the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services was a bold move, but Poa thought it was necessary because it could prevent future international athletes from going through the same problem.

“I’m like on the other side of the world but (the NIL will) be a great opportunity to earn pretty much, get the money that we deserve. Because you know, like Georgia Amoore, she’s in Kentucky and she’s pretty much done most of the things I’ve done but like we can’t earn anything.”

Poa needed a P-1A visa in order to be eligible for NIL deals. She took an important step because the game is growing exponentially, and soon there’ll be a lot of international athletes coming in because of the perks of programs and an opportunity to make money.
