WATCH: Kim Mulkey and Vic Schaefer Courtside for Trinity Jones’ 11-Point Statement at Run 4 The Roses

Bolingbrook High School standout Trinity Jones made a statement in a recent game she had for 2026 Mac Irvin Fire Godfather at the 2025 Run 4 The Roses Classic. Her 11 points led the team to a convincing four-point victory, 53-49, over Next Level with several renowned figures in the basketball world in attendance, including LSU Tigers coach Kim Mulkey and Texas Longhorns coach Vic Schaefer.

In a video posted by @SCNext on X on Friday, July 11, Jones was seen playing remarkably in the annual showcase as both Mulkey and Schaefer looked on from their respective seats. The 47-second reel showcased Jones’ ability to slice up defenses in transition and while their sets haven’t been set with pinpoint playmaking as both a passer and a scorer.

“Kim Mulkey and Vic Schaefer were in to watch Trinity Jones at the Run 4 The Roses Classic. Trinity’s 11 points led 2026 Mac Irvin Fire Godfather to the 53-49 win over Next Level,” @SCNext on X captioned with emojis.

Jones will enter her final season of high school hoops this 2025-26 season, and per 247Sports, she is nationally ranked as the seventh-best prospect among all five-star recruits in the high school class of 2026. With the kind of performance she produced in front of a Run 4 The Roses crowd that featured Mulkey and Schaefer, Jones may spark interest from both college coaches.

Currently, Jones has yet to publicly disclose any offers she has garnered from collegiate hoops programs. But, with how she fared at Run 4 The Roses with two prominently-respected coaches in attendance in Mulkey and Schaefer, there’s traction that Jones will receive a college offer sooner than later.

Both The LSU Tigers And The Texas Longhorns Did Not Reach The 2025 NCAA Championship Game

Both coach Kim Mulkey’s LSU Tigers and coach Vic Schaefer’s Texas Longhorns uncorked respective successful 2024-25 campaigns as both had deep runs in this year’s NCAA tournament despite not reaching the winner-take-all game. Mulkey and the Tigers, who were looking to replicate their NCAA title success in 2023, were trounced out of the postseason in the Elite Eight by the UCLA Bruins through a seven-point defeat, 72-65.

For the Longhorns, they made it all the way to the NCAA Final Four, and were eliminated by the 2024 defending national champions in the South Carolina Gamecocks by 17 points, 74-57. Both powerhouse teams are now banking hopefully churning out better outings in the 2025-26 campaigns later this year, which may or may not determine which schools Trinity Jones is interested to play for should both programs be interested in her abilities.
