It seems that a power couple in the basketball world, Jalen Suggs and Hailey Van Lith, has split up, much to the surprise of many onlookers. On Saturday, Nov. 8, a video was posted by user @NotUlxa on X/Twiter, showing a clip from the recent livestream by famous streamer and content creator N3on. Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs appeared as a guest on the show.
N3on asked the 24-year-old if he was dating someone. Suggs had a swift response: “I’m not.” The answer shocked fans as it suggests that he has broken up with Chicago Sky stalwart Hailey Van Lith. The reason he gave was ‘receding hairline.’ This comes as a surprise, as Van Lith and Suggs were said to have been together for four years.

Suggs and Van Lith were always supportive of each other’s careers. Suggs was seen in the 2024-25 season at some of the TCU Horned Frogs games for Van Lith and was even there during her draft selection.
The same can be said for Van Lith, who has worn his jersey publicly a couple of times. It seems that the two will now focus solely on their respective professional basketball careers.

Hailey Van Lith Once Praised Jalen Suggs’ Way Of Being A Boyfriend
Not too long ago, Van Lith had nothing but praise for how she perceived Suggs. In April of this year, in an article written by Dan Aulbach on TODAY.com, Van Lith opened up about Suggs and how he was as a boyfriend, especially during the 2025 WNBA Draft.
“I brought a lot of blood family (to the draft), but Jalen is the closest thing out there that I would think of as my family that isn’t blood. He really challenges my perspective on things, and that’s what you ask for in a relationship, someone that you can continually grow with. He’s an NBA player that’s a millionaire. He doesn’t have to care or show as much compassion for me as he does…He’ll go on a food run for me. He’ll take my clothes back to my stylist. He is so humble,” Van Lith was quoted as saying.
