Iowa State’s Audi Crooks Joins LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Brittney Griner And More in Elite List

Iowa State Cyclones center Audi Crooks continues to turn heads with her dominant play this year, which has recently led her to an elite list in basketball. On Thursday, Dec. 11, @houseofhighlights uploaded a carousel post on Instagram to reveal that Crooks has joined the likes of NBA legends LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, as well as WNBA standout Brittney Griner.

The Instagram post further mentioned that Crooks is one of just seven players in the NBA, WNBA, and Division 1 NCAA basketball in the 21st century to have 30 points on at least a 65% shooting percentage for three straight games. This is a huge feat for the young sensation, as the other names she joins include NBA superstars Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The next slide of the post shows Crooks’ highlight reel thus far.

“Audi Crooks is in ELITE COMPANY. 🔥😤 @brwsports (h/t @optastats.us),” @houseofhighlights on Instagram captioned with a couple of emojis.

Now that she is breaking records and joining an elite company in high-tier accomplishments, Crooks has brought about this success for her team’s current unbeaten record. Coach Bill Fennelly’s Cyclones are yet to be beaten after their first 11 games in their non-conference schedule. Crooks and company are now set for a Sunday, Dec. 14, showdown against the Northern Iowa Panthers on their home floor.

Audi Crooks Shares How She Keeps Up Her Record-Breaking Scoring Outputs

In a report by Isabel Gonzalez on CBS Sports, Audi Crooks was quoted from a recent interview, where she revealed how she delivered high-scoring outputs in each game so far in the 2025-26 season. For Crooks, it boils down to how she stays in the moment while letting the game naturally come to her.

“It’s kind of like you reach peak flow state. Nothing else really matters. You are just in the game, you are in the moment. I feel really connected with my teammates when we are able to make those connections, they are able to get those assists. It’s just kind of a really natural flow state for me, and basketball is really, really like easy and you don’t have to think about it,” Crooks was quoted as saying.
