Azzi Fudd was already making waves in the country with her ongoing stint at UConn. She became the NCAA Champion this year and was the MOP of the tournament. Fudd was expected to enter the WNBA, but held off for another year.
Now, Fudd has gone international. She recently accompanied the NBA superstar Stephen Curry on his trip to China. Steph went there with his brother and NBA star Seth Curry and Fudd on a promotional tour for Curry Brand.
The Warriors point guard organizes an annual Curry Camp experience to promote basketball and his brand while inspiring kids around the world to get involved in the sport. After her visit to Chongqing, China, Fudd thanked Steph for taking her on the tour.
“World tour 🤩✅” She wrote on Instagram. “Huge thank you to @stephencurry30 for having me and the fans in China for the love 🥹 💛”

Fudd posted several pictures from her world tour on Instagram alongside the $240 million worth star, his brother, and her interactions with kids in China. Impressed by Fudd’s global reach, UConn forward Ice Brady dropped a comment on the post.
“azzi ur so cool,” she wrote.

During their trip, Fudd and the Curry brothers competed against one another in a three-point shooting contest. Steph is undeniably one of the greatest shooters the sport of basketball has ever seen. But it was Fudd’s opportunity to shine against one of the all-time greats.
Seth Curry made two of five attempts, the Warriors superstar made three of five, and Fudd drained four threes to win over the two seasoned NBA vets. Although it was a lighthearted moment between the three, Fudd showed that she can go toe to toe against the best in the world.
Azzi Fudd revealed a bizarre reason she got yelled at
On an episode of Fudd Around and Find Out, the UConn star was asked if she had ever been yelled at during practice. It’s not uncommon for coaches to yell at their players if they think they’re doing something wrong.
Keeping the team or individual players in check also helps build discipline and character that eventually makes them great. But in the case of Azzi Fudd, she got yelled at by her father for a bizarre reason.
“I needed to go pee during practice,” Fudd told co-host Ashanti Plummer. “He yelled at me, he kicked me out of practice. Kicked me out of the gym because I asked to go pee.”
“No actually he said you can control it and you should only be asking to go to the bathroom if you need to poop because that’s something you can’t hold. But if you need to pee then you are not really trying. You’re not working hard enough.”

Coaches have their own way of assessing whether the players are working hard or not. Fudd’s father must’ve had his own reason behind it. The bottom line is that his method made Fudd one of the best players in the country.
