5 Potential Landing Spots for Harmoni Turner

The WNBA draft is exactly one week away, and teams have probably drawn up their shortlists already. We take a look at teams that could procure the services of Turner.

    Golden State Valkyries

The Valkyries are the newest team in the WNBA and will be looking to fill their roster, including at the guard position. They already picked players such as Kate Martin during the expansion draft, but they’ll also be looking to the WNBA draft to add talents to the roster.

    Washington Mystics

The Mystics have three top-ten picks in this year’s draft: the number three pick via Chicago, the number four pick via Atlanta, and the number six pick via Atlanta. They could add Turner’s talents to their roster.

    Connecticut Sun

The Connecticut Suns have two picks in the first round, the seventh and eighth picks via New York and Indiana, respectively. Although they currently have Diamond Deshields and Marina Mabrey, they could use more depth in the guard position, and Turner is an exciting option.

    Chicago Sky

Turner could find herself in Chicago as the Chicago Sky currently has the number 10 pick via Connecticut. They currently have star forward Angel Reese and center Kamila Kardoso on their rosters, but they do need to add quality around these two stars.

    Minnesota Lynx

The Lynx are four-time WNBA champions and also came close to lifting the title last year before losing the finals to New York Liberty. Minnesota will be looking to build upon last season’s impressive showing, and they currently have a first-round pick and two second-round picks. Turner could be an option for the Lynx.
