Former Miami Hurricanes guard Haley Cavinder recently gave an update on herself and her twin sister, Hanna, regarding their newest activity. On Wednesday, July 16, Haley posted a reel on their joint Instagram account after undergoing cosmetic surgery together.
The video shows Haley, who was already recovering from the procedure, as she spoke about how the twin sisters were doing right after their surgery. Hanna, on the other hand, was fresh off the operating room and was still resting, as seen in the video.
“ So this was my first time going under, so I was a little nervous, but it was amazing. My anesthesia kind of wore off, so I’m feeling good. I just feel like I hit a really hard chest workout. Twin just entered the chat. She’s up, she’s just a little faded. Yeah, we are bonding, hanging out… I just ate some protein, oatmeal. I got my protein in. Um, that was probably the hardest part, and not drinking coffee. Hannah is still just coming out of it,” Haley Cavinder said.
After Haley checked on her sister and Hanna let out a slow response, she concluded by saying:
“We will update you guys for everything else coming soon, and thanks, you guys, for all the support. Love y’all.”

Hanna Cavinder Says she Would do the Cosmetic Surgery All Over Again
In another video posted by the Cavinder twins on Instagram later on Wednesday, Hanna Cavinder suggested that if she had the opportunity, she would undergo the cosmetic surgery again.
Hanna Cavinder said this while still resting, as her sister shot the video and asked her if she would do it again. Haley was heard chuckling as Hanna continued to recover.
“My favorite animal is my twin after surgery 😂,” @thecavindertwins wrote on Instagram.

Both Haley and Hanna Cavinder wrapped up their five-year college basketball careers in the 2024-25 season with coach Tricia Cullop’s Miami Hurricanes. This was their second and last campaign with the program, as they played their first three years with the Fresno State Bulldogs. The 2024-25 Hurricanes finished with an overall record of 14-15 (4-14, ACC) and were unable to reach this year’s March Madness.
