Former Miami Hurricanes guard Haley Cavinder is giving all-out support towards her partner for his newest season. On Thursday, Sept. 4, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and the rest of coach Brian Scottenheimer’s Cowboys squad opened their 2025 NFL campaign in an away game against the 2024 defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Unfortunately for Ferguson and the rest of the Dallas faithful, including Cavinder, the Cowboys succumbed to defeat against the Eagles by a tight four-point loss, 24-20. Even with the defeat, Cavinder has shown her support towards Ferguson and the Cowboys in her most recent post on Instagram with a two-word hyped-up caption.
“Fergyyyy fresh!,” Cavinder captioned.

In the carousel post, Cavinder is first seen giving Ferguson a kiss from the sidelines in a candid snap. The next photos then showcase Cavinder’s fit, which is an all-black look with pants that spell Ferguson’s last name and his number in the back of her sleeveless top. Cavinder then finished off the post with photos with her twin sister, Hanna Cavinder, who also watched the game in a similar set but in gray and white colors.
Ferguson, with the support of Cavinder and the rest of the Cowboys faithful, will now look to get their first win of this year’s campaign when they take on the New York Giants. The Cowboys’ second game of the season is slated for Sunday, Sept. 14, and will be Ferguson and Co.’s first home game of the year.
Hanna Cavinder commented thrice on Haley Cavinder’s latest post on Instagram
Along with Haley Cavinder posting all about Jake Ferguson’s first game of the year, her twin sister in Hanna Cavinder, has also given her rounds of support. Hanna Cavinder did this by commenting three different comments on her sister’s post, all of which are meant to hype her and Ferguson up after the loss.
“We luv home base,” Hanna Cavinder wrote with a peace sign emoji before her twin sister in Haley replied, saying, “Every single time.”

“My fav wag,” Hanna Cavinder posted in another comment.

“4 + 4,” Haley Cavinder said in another comment.

Both Haley and Hanna Cavinder finished off their fifth and final year of collegiate basketball in the recently-concluded 2024-25 season with coach Tricia Cullop’s Miami Hurricanes. They finished the year with an overall record of 14-15 (4-14 ACC), and did not make it into any postseason tournaments.
