LSU Tigers guard Flau’jae Johnson is going all out in support of her boyfriend’s first game of the 2025 college football season. On Saturday, Aug. 30, LSU Tigers wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. is commencing the start of his fifth and final year of collegiate football as LSU is taking on the Clemson Tigers in the latter’s home pitch, the Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina.
With this, Johnson has taken it into her X/Twitter account to drop a two-word message directed towards her following that hypes up Hilton Jr. for what’s to come of his senior stint with the Tigers. Hilton Jr. is looking to finish off his college football tenure on a positive note, with individuals like Johnson supporting him, as a win in the first game of the campaign can give him and coach Brian Kelly’s team the needed momentum moving forward.

With Johnson giving her all-out support towards her now long-term partner, Johnson herself will be uncorking her senior year of collegiate hoops with coach Kim Mulkey’s Tigers later this year in the upcoming 2025-26 season. She concluded her junior campaign back in the recently-concluded 2024-25 season, all three of which have been spent at LSU, and announced her intention to run it back with the team on April 13.
Now, Johnson watches closely as Hilton Jr. looks to help his LSU squad win their first game of the season. The Tigers football team are bringing on their 2024 campaign this year, wherein they finished with an overall record of 9-4 (5-3 SEC) and won the Kinder’s Texas Bowl over the Baylor Bears by 13 points, 44-31. Right after this game, Hilton Jr. and the Tigers will set their sights on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, who they will take on in their home arena on Saturday, Sept 6.

Along with her post showing support for her boyfriend, LSU Tigers wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr., incoming senior Flau’jae Johnson was also visibly excited about the return of college football, most importantly, LSU’s version of it. She posted prior to her message to Hilton Jr. a seven-word X/Twitter post with several tiger emojis.
Johnson is coming off her third year of collegiate basketball at LSU, helping the team finish with an overall record of 31-6 (12-4 SEC) before they were bounced out of the 2025 NCAA tournament by the UCLA Bruins in the Elite Eight through a seven-point, 72-65, defeat.
