“Needs To Drop the Workout Routine”: Hoops Fans Gush Over Azzi Fudd’s Guns Ahead of Unrivaled All Star Summit

In July 2025, Azzi Fudd was one of the 14 players who signed NIL deals with Unrivaled, the 3×3 women’s basketball league. The class of 2025 recently had a fun day out where they hung out, played games, and had fun. Now, it’s time for serious business.

In a recent post from Unrivaled’s official Instagram account, the future stars of Unrivaled can be seen practising ahead of the All-Star Summit. While all the players looked locked in, Fudd and her guns caught fans’ attention.

Practicing with her sleeves rolled up, Fudd had her arms on display. It prompted several responses from fans, the most notable ones are mentioned below:

“Azzi needs to drop the workout routine.”

    “Azzi can’t be real 🫠😍💪🏽🔥”

“I can feel Azzi’s aura through the screen 🥹🔥🔥”

    “Azzi’s muscles 🔥”

    “Azzi just looks pro ready”

“Ok Azzi she’s been in the gym 💅😜”

“THE FORM OF OUR BABY GOAT AZZI 🔥”

All eyes are on Fudd and understandably so. In November last year, during a practice at UConn, she tore her ACL. She had previously torn her ACL in April 2019. The UConn guard underwent knee reconstruction surgery.

As painful as the process was, Fudd’s comeback put everyone on notice. She became an NCAA Champion this year, was honored with the NCAA Tournament MOP, and made First Team All-Big East.

She skipped the 2025 WNBA Draft for one more season at UConn, and Fudd has some plans about how she wants to lead the team in her final year.

Azzi Fudd spoke on being a different leader

There have been some brilliant leaders throughout UConn’s history. More recently, Paige Bueckers showed how to lead with examples. However, now that it’s Fudd’s time to be under the spotlight, she has some plans of her own.

During an interview with CT Insider, Fudd talked about having a different approach to leadership.

“I’m not gonna be like how Paige was a leader, how Nika was as a leader,” Fudd said. “I’m not gonna be super loud. I don’t think that’s in me to be like that.”

Despite the history of the Huskies, Fudd doesn’t want to follow anyone’s blueprint. She wants to leave her own mark, do things her own way, and get the best results for her college. One can’t help but appreciate the dedication and drive of the 22-year-old.
