However, over the last couple of hours, a rumor around Wilson being pregnant has been running wild. So, is A’ja Wilson really pregnant?
The answer might shock, surprise or maybe even disappoint some fans. No, Wilson isn’t pregnant yet. Wilson and Adebayo have always spoken about having a child together, but as of now, the couple has never confirmed whether Wilson is pregnant.
The rumor peddled thanks to a fake viral post by Hoops Crave on X, which claimed Wilson and Adebayo were expecting twins soon. This isn’t the first time hoops fans have been fooled by an account on X making wild claims about players. Earlier, even the likes of Fox News, as well as veteran sportscasters such as Stephen A. Smith, have fallen for such bait.

The post reached nearly two million views as of Monday night, leading to many fans actually believing that A’ja Wilson might as well be pregnant. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. The account making this wild claim even has a ‘parody’ tag in its description, which might have gone unnoticed by many fans,
The possibility of Bam and A’ja having a baby (or babies) definitely excites everyone rooting for this basketball power couple. Until then, maybe we should just wait for the good news coming from them directly.
A’ja Wilson And Bam Adebayo Call Out Rachel Nichols For Awkward Question
Following A’ja Wilson’s TIME honor, the reigning league MVP mentioned Bam Adebayo as her “life partner,” suggesting that starting a family with the Miami Heat star would be like a “dream.” To this, veteran journalist Rachel Nichols took clear note and made an awkward joke, which resulted in both Wilson and Adebayo reacting.
Speaking to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after the NBA Cup, Nichols joked about OKC general manager Sam Presti’s reported desire to discover potential talents. Nichols then took it a step further by adding how Presti would even be in the doctor’s office once he finds out Wilson and Adebayo were having a baby. To this, SGA replied gracefully, saying, “Sam takes his job very serious, and whatever it takes to be great, he will do.”
But A’ja Wilson clearly didn’t like this joke at all. Reacting to this through Threads, Wilson wrote,
“Y’all don’t think this is a lil strange orrrr weird…??? But I guess it’s a slow day in the office…”
To this, even Adebayo reacted, adding, “That’s why privacy matters.”
Sure enough, the world would know firsthand if A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo were having a baby from the couple themselves. Until then, it’s best to enjoy both of these athletes shine at their respective stages while they are at their peak.
