Dawn Staley is a woman of many talents. She has numerous feathers on her cap as a women’s basketball pioneer, WNBA legend, and college basketball coach. In June this year, she added another thing to the already impressive lineup.
Staley joined CBS Sports as an analyst. She has already left a lasting impression with her unparalleled knowledge and analysis of the game. Her recent X post suggests that Staley is truly enjoying her gig at CBS Sports.
The network made an announcement post on X, stating that this Saturday is about to be a stacked schedule with women’s sports on CBS and Paramount+.
At 12:30 PM ET, ‘We Need to Talk’ will air. It will be followed by ‘WNBA Tip-Off’ at 1:30 PM, the New York Liberty vs Minnesota Lynx at 2 PM, and KC Current vs Orlando Pride at 4 PM.
The schedule can make any sports fan excited, let alone Staley, who has invested her entire life in the game. She quoted the post to show her excitement.
“Full day…..I’m up in the house for part of it! Let’s gooooo crew @sarahkustok @ReneeMontgomery,” Staley wrote.

Staley is joined by Renee Montgomery, a two-time WNBA Champion, and analyst Sarah Kustok on her CBS show. In a short period of time, Staley has built a good rapport with the other two members.
But it’s not all business when they go on air. Staley and crew recently had some fun on the show, guessing what Labubu means. While Montgomery knew what the collectable plush toys were, Kustok struggled to find an answer.
The most surprising bit, however, was when Staley revealed that she knows about Labubus, thanks to Klay Thompson and his girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion. While her CBS gig is going so well, Staley has a hectic season coming up with the Gamecocks.
