Chloe Kitts and Tessa Johnson Take a Swipe at “New Friends” in Lighthearted South Carolina Clip

South Carolina stars Chloe Kitts and Tessa Johnson are getting ready to take back the national championship to South Carolina. In their off time, however, the two are known for some shenanigans over at TikTok, with Kitts asking Johnson if she wants a “new friend,” but Johnson tries to “frown” instead, failing as she was trying to stop herself from laughing.

Kitts, on the other hand, was laughing openly, though under that “new friends” challenge, she may have openly said that she wanted some “new friends.”

The two have become social media stars because of their videos together, which are often seen on multiple platforms, such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Most of their content is described as lighthearted and fun short-form videos.

Over in South Carolina, Chloe Kitts and Tessa Johnson have already welcomed some “new friends”, indeed, as two new transferees via the portal, as well as two new freshman recruits, are already practicing with them under their legendary head coach, Dawn Staley.

Combo guard Ta’Niya Latson transferred from Florida State to South Carolina last April, while Kenyan center Madina Okot is also coming in via the transfer portal from Mississippi State. Meanwhile, five-star Canadian small forward Agot Makeer and four-star Brazilian small forward Ayla McDowell are also joining the Gamecocks as their new freshmen recruits.

Chloe Kitts Talks About Stealing Spotlight From BF Collin Murray-Boyles During the NBA Draft

While Chloe Kitts and Tessa Johnson have been gaining traction as a social media duo, Kitts is also known for dating NBA rookie Collin Murray-Boyles. When the former South Carolina star was drafted by the Toronto Raptors as the No. 9 overall pick, it was Kitts who stole the spotlight from him, and his relationship with her was also featured in the video package after he was drafted.

After the draft, Kitts opened up on her viral moment that stole some thunder from his now-NBA rookie boyfriend.

“It’s crazy to think that last year we were sitting on the couch watching the draft, and you looked at me and said, ‘That’ll be me next year,'” she said in a message to Murray-Boyles. “And now… it is you. Watching you get drafted into the NBA was one of the most powerful, emotional moments I’ve ever experienced not just because of what it means, but because I know the sacrifice, the long nights, the setbacks, and the quiet battles it took to get here.”

Murray-Boyles himself went viral when his name was called as the ninth pick, bursting into expletives because of pure shock as he never expected he would be drafted in the top 10. This was when Kitts stole the show as the cameras soon focused on her as well.
