Caitlin Clark seems to have spent all Wednesday eagerly awaiting Taylor Swift’s appearance on the “New Heights” podcast with the Kelce brothers. After much speculation, late on Monday night, the “New Heights” account confirmed that Taylor Swift was the guest for this week’s episode of the show.
Clark seems worried about the possibility of YouTube not being able to handle the demand of eager fans, like herself, watching Swift’s first podcast appearance. Earlier on Wednesday, the Indiana Fever star tweeted:

Her concern is not unfounded, as the podcast is set to draw massive attention from the public after the multiple Grammy Award-winner announced her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl’, in one of the snippets of the show on Tuesday at dawn.
Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have been dating since the summer of 2023, and she has become a regular sight in the VIP suites at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Some would say her appearance on her partner’s podcast was long overdue.

A possible explanation for not having appeared on “New Heights” sooner is the hectic schedule the singer has been subjected to over the last two years, as she held her “Eras Tour”, something Travis Kelce recently commented on. In an interview with GQ this week, Kelce said people don’t understand the level of commitment Taylor Swift has to carry out her projects.
“To go out on a stage, on a computer, essentially, for three hours. The [Eras Tour] floor, I’ve seen underneath that thing. It is a football-field-sized computer. You take that into Singapore, where it is scorching hot, and all of a sudden you’re feeling the fumes from the computer and you’re feeling the fumes from the sun and you’re doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song. That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she’s doing it three, four, five days in a row,” Travis said.
The commitment has certainly paid out for Swift, with her becoming a global cultural phenomenon in the second half of the 2010s and the first half of the 2020s. It has also paid out financially, with her net worth growing to $1.6 billion (as per Celebrity Net Worth).
