Caitlin Clark has impressed with her talent on the court over the years. She took the basketball world by storm when she started her college career. She broke multiple records with the Iowa Hawkeyes. She became the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer with 3,951 points. Clark is the only player with at least 3,800 points, 1,000 assists and 950 rebounds. Clark also set numerous WNBA records when she won Rookie of the Year. She holds the single-season record for points (769), assists (337) and three-pointers(122).
Everyone knows how good CC is on the court, but last year she also gave us all a glimpse of her interest in another sport. When her rookie season ended in 2024, Clark joked about wanting to become a professional golfer. She then spent a lot of time on the grass preparing for an offseason golf tournament. Clark then ended up participating in an LPGA golfing pro-am competition. It is hosted by World Golf and LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, which was then named “The Annika”. Clark has been injured since late July and missed the rest of the season. Recently, it was announced that Clark would be making a return, not on the court but on grass.
Caitlin Clark will return to The Annika to participate in the LPGA Tour’s pro-am on November 12, tournament officials announced Thursday.

Caitlin Clark will return to The Annika and take part in the LPGA Tour’s pro-am. The tour will begin on November 12. Fans were excited but also poked fun at Clark for an incident that took place the last time Clark played in The Annika.
“Don’t hit nobody this time,” one fan commented.
“Hopefully Caitlin doesn’t hit anybody this time lol I’m sure there will be a good turnout again like last year as I’m sure her fans will want to know where and when you can watch it,” another fan said.
“If she needs to hit someone with a golf ball again i’m more than willing,” another joked.
“Golfer CC is back!” one fan replied.
“Very cool how Caitlin is doing the golf & Angel Reese is doing the Victoria’s Secret fashion show! Live your best life beloveds,” one fan reacted to Clark and Reese making big moves.
“Both of my faves love playing golf. Steph and CC lmao,” one fan showed excitement.
“I’ve never been so excited to watch someone play golf,” another said.
“What are the odds that she accidentally hits someone with a golf ball again??” Another joked.
The last time Clark participated in The Annika, she hit an uncontrolled golf shot in the spectator area. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the ball did hit a fan on the arm. He took the incident in humorously and received a signed ball from CC.
Caitlin Clark Reacts to participating in The Annika
Clark has expressed her interest in golf. She probably isn’t as good at it as she is at basketball, but she is not one for the lack of trying. She has worked on her golf skills and is about to make her second appearance in the LPGA pro-am.
“I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the Pro- Am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark said. “I’m honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge that is so committed to elevating women’s sports. I can’t wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the Pro-Am with the best women golfers in the world.”
The Annika is the LPGA Tour’s final full-field regular-season event for the 2025 season and includes a $3.25 million purse.
