Caitlin Clark’s Teammate Gets 100% Real On ‘Jealousy’ Against Fever In Candid Confession

Caitlin Clark entered the league last year, and all the eyes were on her. Coming from a generational college career, Clark attracted all the attention to the WNBA. She holds the all-time NCAA scoring record with 3,951 points and the NCAA record for 3-pointers (548).

Clark is also the only player in NCAA history with at least 3,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds. So it was obvious when Clark came to the WNBA that all the media and fans would be excited to see her perform in the league. Clark carried her exceptional form into the WNBA and won the Rookie of the Year award. Lexie Hull recently commented on how Fever is treated.

“There is a level of jealousy when it comes to the Fever, just because of the media attention and the fans that have shown up for us ever since Caitlin got here,” Hull said. “We’ve heard people and players and teams talking in their locker room about, ‘We can’t let the Fever win.'”

“I think a little bit of that is needed across the league. Everyone should feel like they’re getting everyone else’s best and I do feel like we get everyone else’s best,” Hull concluded.

This statement from Lexie was in relation to the comments made by some of the WNBA veterans, who called out the media attention on Clark. Fever’s last season was riddled with injuries, but the resilient team still reached the semifinals.

Clark was unavailable for most of the season and also the playoffs. Thus, it was seen as an achievement for the Fever to go that deep in the tournament. Lexie Hull’s comments exude confidence, which they certainly gathered from an amazing season.

“As if Mondays weren’t already bad enough,” one fan mocked Lexie.

“Jealous of what? The championship runs? The rings? What??” one fan exclaimed.

“Yeah no which fanbase is she talking about becuase it sure ain’t the Aces fanbase. We just won another championship and have the best player in the world on our team,” an Aces’ fan reacted.
