Former Iowa Hawkeyes guard Gabbie Marshall celebrated her 25th birthday on Aug. 22. Marshall decided to reunite with her college teammates as part of her birthday celebration. She met Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin, Jada Gyamfi, and others.
She was accompanied by her boyfriend, Spencer Touro, on their trip to San Francisco. Lucky for her, when the Valkyries played the Indiana Fever, several of her former teammates came there as members of the two teams.
To recap their tour, Touro recently posted 11 pictures from the trip on Instagram. He captioned the post:
“This weekend celebrating @gabbie.marshall 25th 🌉❤️#baycation #doyougetit.”

In the pictures, Touro was seen posing with Marshall and Martin. The one picture that included Clark was of her walking on the floor. The Fever superstar took to the comments to drop a cryptic remark on her picture in the dump.
“Aye I got flicked up on the court.”
Marshall also made a separate post on her Instagram, with the caption:
“The girlies deserve a separate post 😘”

Her teammates, Clark, Martin, and Gyamfi, commented on the post.
“Slayyyyy💗💗💗💗,” Clark wrote.
“Aw I love you so much,” Martin wrote.
“My honey honey,” Gyamfi wrote.
Marshall included several pictures of Clark as they got some time to catch
up. The Fever ended up losing that game 63-75 and ended their two-game winning streak. They also lost their next game against the Phoenix Mercury 79-85.
The Mercury game marked the end of their three-game road trip, out of which they lost two. They will now be back at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a game against the Chicago Sky on September 5.
Stephanie White believes Caitlin Clark could return in the regular season
This season has been full of ups and downs for the Indiana Fever. At the beginning, they couldn’t have expected it to go so off track in the later stages of the season. The Fever have played 41 games so far and have a 21-20 record.
They are currently the eighth seed, and a lot of it is caused by the string of injuries they’ve sustained as a team. Out of 41, Clark has played in only 13 games for the franchise. With three more games left in the regular season, fans are hoping that Clark will now return to the floor.
When asked if Clark is doing contact practice, Stephanie White said that she’s only doing individual shooting drills so far. As for the chances of her coming back in the regular season, White said:
“That’s the hope … I think that the long term viewpoint of her health and wellness is the most important thing.”
Caitlin Clark has not done any practices with contact, Steph White said.

Even though the coach is not fully confident, it’s a big leap from Clark’s status a few weeks ago. As the regular season comes to an end and if the Fever make it to the playoffs, Clark’s presence will be vital for them.
