Former UConn Huskies star and now Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend just shared what she usually carries when catching a flight. Huskies senior Azzi Fudd took it to her Instagram account to post a couple of photos on her stories that show what her travel essentials are like while taking a selfie to show what she does to herself while on a plane.
Fudd’s first photo upload includes all of her essentials, which are movies, the current book she is reading, which in this case is ‘Misery’ by Stephen King, Bose headphones, her lip treatment, passport, an extra cellphone, a pillow and another book.

Fudd’s next story then shows her taking a selfie, smiling at how she relaxes on the plane. The photo shows Fudd wearing a tan Paige Bueckers x Dallas Wings hoodie, along with a white pillow, red bonnet and black eye mask. “And of course, the bonnet and eye mask,” she captioned with an emoji.
Fudd will now enter her fifth and final year of collegiate basketball in the 2025-26 season with coach Geno Auriemma’s Huskies. For Bueckers, she is currently in her first campaign in the WNBA with coach Chris Koclanes’ Wings. Both Fudd and Bueckers are coming off a successful 2024-25 season in which they won this year’s national championship against the defending national champions in the South Carolina Gamecocks, 82-59.
Azzi Fudd details when she and Paige Bueckers first started clicking in terms of a mutual connection
On Thursday, Aug. 14, Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers had an episode of the “Close Friends Only with Instagram” show on YouTube where they dived deep into discussions surrounding their relationship. At the start of the video, Bueckers then asked Fudd about her perception of when they first started clicking when they first met, when the two of them were high school standouts.
“Almost kind of immediately. I feel like we really clicked when we met…On the court, we clicked. I don’t remember talking to you at all off the court, but I remember the plane ride home to Minnesota talking to you and really liking you and then that’s when I thought, like, our personality off the court, our personalities clicked,” Fudd said. The pair said that they first met during a Team USA basketball camp, which had led both Fudd and Bueckers to commit to the UConn Huskies through it. For Bueckers, she resonated the same sentiment as Fudd, but she added that they had an immediate chemistry on the court despite pointing out that Fudd did not know her yet at the time.
