Earlier in July, Azzi Fudd had the opportunity to throw the first pitch at a Washington Nationals MLB game. Though she made a decent attempt, the reaction from her girlfriend Paige Bueckers has got everyone rolling. Bueckers rated the pitch on her social media “8/10.” Seems like she doesn’t hold back against her girlfriend either!
Azzi Fudd recently discussed Bueckers’ reaction during the debut episode of her podcast, “Fudd Around And Find Out.” But Paige didn’t just rate Azzi’s pitch on social media; she made her feelings clear afterwards. Speaking on the podcast, Fudd revealed,
“Actually I’m happy about it [Paige’s rating] because i think someone showed her the real video and she was really disappointed that it hits the ground. And she was like, ‘You know what? At least you’re pretty, kid. I was like, all right, I’ll take it.”
At the WNBA All-Star weekend this year, Bueckers confirmed her relationship with Azzi Fudd after months of speculation. However, there’s no clarity on how long they have been dating.
Many speculate that the couple have been private for quite a while now, especially since Seattle Storm guard Nika Muhl recently said she was ‘good at keeping secrets’ when asked about the UConn duo’s relationship.

The relationship was something that the fans had speculated for years. Even Bueckers and Fudd had hinted at their relationship several times over the last few months on social media, and fans were quick to gather the clues. And to top it, what’s better than winning the Natty with your partner, especially representing a top-notch school like the UConn Huskies?
Fudd has been a great supporter of Bueckers’ professional career, making appearances in several of her Dallas Wings games. On the other hand, Bueckers is making a strong case as a Rookie of the Year contender, averaging 18.6 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds so far this season. She has even broken six WNBA records so far, including one where she became the fastest player to reach 400 points and 100 assists in just 22 games.
Fudd will be entering her final season with UConn and is projected to be one of the top prospects for the 2026 WNBA draft. Since earning her position as a starter on the team, she finished her senior season averaging 13.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while also winning a national championship. She also won the NCAA’s Most Outstanding Player award because of her exemplary performance.
