Azzi Fudd Getting Dropped on an Ankle Breaker Leaves UConn Fans in Denial: ‘Sick of What AI Has Done To This Sport’

Azzi Fudd got a taste of her own medicine despite the UConn Huskies’ win against the Seton Hall Pirates.

Fudd had a game to forget, as she only managed seven points, four assists, and one rebound in 27 minutes of playing time. However, that was not even the most embarrassing part of her performance in the game, which the Huskies won 91-49.

Azzi Fudd Dropped in UConn’s Win

Fudd, who is known for her skills, was on the receiving end of a humbling moment as she was dropped by one of Seton Hall Pirates players.

The 5-foot-11 guard could not keep up with her opponent’s ball-handling skills and almost suffered an ankle breaker in the video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

However, UConn fans were not having it, with many saying the video was not real and it was AI-generated.

“So sick of what Ai has done to this sport :/,” a fan said.

“This is AI,” another fan echoed the same sentiment.

“delete, a lot of people are asking you to delete, its triggering for so many people, there are people that faint and feel sick, please im begging you to delete it, its illegal in many countries to post something like this, people are crying please delete,” another fan said

The sarcastic responses kept coming as a lot of UConn fans refused to accept that their player was dropped.

“sharing AI videos on an official page is nasty work,” another fan said

“I expected better from you guys. this post is completely unacceptable and it’s honestly disappointing that you don’t see that. do the right thing and take it down now,” a fan said

“Y’all think you’re slick posting this after that starting five disrespect. Noted. 📝,” a fan also appears to be angry
