The UConn Huskies are the most successful team in the history of women’s college basketball. They have won 12 national championships, all with head coach Geno Auriemma at the helm. Most recently, the team broke a nearly decade-long championship drought by winning the 2025 NCAA tournament. UConn is one of the few teams in women’s college basketball history that has produced a dynasty.
On Wednesday, Apple TV+ announced a new three-part docuseries featuring the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team. The series will span 40 years of historic success under head coach Geno Auriemma and will include this past season’s national championship run.
