Chicago Sky All-Star power forward Angel Reese may be known to be one of the toughest women in the WNBA, but the former LSU Tiger has often shown her much softer and supportive side. This was evident when she commented on the viral TikTok post by Leanna Lenee, the wife of Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter.
In her cryptic post, Lenee was sobbing and hinted that she may be going through a tough phase in her life. The post went viral and drew some speculations, though nothing concrete has been revealed so far. Her emotional video has gotten many talking, including Reese.

Reese and Lenee did not know each other personally, though when the internet criticized Lenee over a non-issue when Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy, it was Angel Reese who came to her rescue and defended her on social media, even replying to a few hate comments herself.
Lenee and Hunter had been dating since February 2022, with both their social media accounts filled with photos and clips of them together.

As for that Heisman incident where fans once again flocked to attack Leanna Lenee and Angel Reese came to her aid, it happened after she did not stand up when Travis Hunter’s name was announced as the Heisman winner. Colorado coach Deion Sanders then patted her on the back before she finally stood up. Many called this a non-issue, though fans still attacked her. This was when Reese showed up to defend her.
“I don’t know that boy at all. I’m just supporting another athlete but why do yall care so much? AGAIN, they are happy. Yall wanna be internet relationship experts so bad. This is why we want to keep things private cause yall always gonna try to find SOMETHING,” she wrote on X.

As Reese pointed out, many people do not know what is truly happening in a relationship, and such things should be kept private between the couple. However, this did not stop the hate towards Lenee, though she has been thankful to Angel Reese for standing up for her.
