PICS: Angel Reese Hops on Labubu Craze in Style and a Stack of Luxe Packages

As one of the biggest women’s basketball stars in the world, former LSU power forward and current Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has a lot of reach, and companies often collaborate with her to showcase their products. This includes luxury brands such as Chanel and Dior, and she showed off some of the luxury packages she received on Instagram.

She thanked both Dior and Chanel for these care packages. However, what caught a lot of attention was the power forward joining the Labubu craze and embracing one of these  Chinese vinyl toys from Pop Mart. She also proudly showed a white one that was wearing a Chanel jacket and glasses.

Despite being a big who is not shy about bumping around in the paint, Angel Reese has become known as one of the more fashionable NBA stars today. The former LSU Tiger was seen in last May’s Met Gala in New York City, an event considered one of the most important nights in the fashion industry, with some of the biggest fashionistas and celebrities gathering to show off their looks.

The ever-fashionable Reese even graced the cover of Vogue Magazine last January, admitting that she wanted to one day be a model herself and even walk for the Paris Fashion Week. She also said that she grew up watching “America’s Next Top Model,” and even got the nickname “Bayou Barbie” during her time at LSU.

Angel Reese Talks About Basketball and Fashion

For Angel Reese, her life is about both basketball and fashion, being both one of the most dominant power forwards out there and one of the most fashionable athletes today, as she explained during her interview with Vogue magazine:

“It’s always been both: basketball and fashion,” she told Vogue. “But I was a fashion girlie from young too. Like—let me find this picture my mom sent. I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff. I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do.”

“I used to watch America’s Next Top Model with Tyra and practice my walk in the living room,” she added.

This came from Reese, who averages 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game this season, and may possibly be selected as an All-Star again. She is also considered Caitlin Clark’s rival, with the two being linked to one another ever since Reese led LSU to the national championship by beating Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the final.
