Former LSU Tigers guard and now incoming Arizona State Sun Devils senior Last-Tear Poa recently let out her laughter over her former teammate’s viral moment. On Tuesday, July 15, @overtimewbb on Instagram posted a video of Chicago Sky stalwart Angel Reese as she was taking a free throw in the Sky’s 12-point loss, 91-78, to the Minnesota Lynx on their homefloor.
The video then shows Reese clapping back at a heckling fan, with @pooneymccord on Instagram providing a comedic voiceover of what Reese allegedly shouted to the courtside spectator. “I’m weak. You sitting right there for a reason. F**k you talking about?,” is what Reese was quoted as saying, with @pooneymccord providing a hilarious impersonation.

This prompted Poa to repost the now viral upload on her Instagram story, through which the Melbourne, Australia native included a couple of laughing emojis in her post to express her laughter towards Reese’s fan interaction and the voice impersonation that was made of her.

Despite the loss, Reese dropped 22 points on 9-of-14 overall shooting, 10 rebounds, three assists and a block in 37 minutes of playing time as Chicago now looks ahead to their next regular season game on Wednesday, July 16, against the Atlanta Dream on their homecourt. Reese and the rest of coach Tyler Marsh’s team looks to improve on their 7-14 record on the campaign thus far.
For Poa, she is coming off her junior year of collegiate hoops with coach Kim Mulkey’s Tigers in the 2024-25 season, where they finished with an overall record of 31-6 (12-4, SEC) and made it all the way to the Elite Eight of this year’s NCAA tournament. Poa registered averages of 2.0 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists a game in the previously-concluded campaign.

Back on April 20 of this year, Last-Tear Poa announced on her Instagram account that she has decided to pursue her initial declaration to the 2025 transfer portal and transfer to the Arizona State Sun Devils for her senior campaign of collegiate basketball in the 2025-26 season. Poa has played the last three years with the LSU Tigers, where she won the NCAA title with Angel Reese in her freshman season in 2023.
Poa now joins newly minted coach Molly Miller’s squad this coming campaign after coach Natasha Adair has coached the program in the last three seasons. In the recently concluded 2024-25 campaign, Arizona State finished with an overall record of 10-22 (3-15, Big 12) and did not make it to this year’s NCAA tournament. The last time the Sun Devils made a March Madness appearance was six years ago, back in 2019.
