Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Paige Bueckers are three of the biggest names in the WNBA right now. Reese’s infamous performance in the NCAA final against unstoppable Clark brought a lot of attention to women’s basketball.
Reese’s LSU took home the national title against Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes, and the duo’s rivalry drew unfathomable viewership to women’s basketball. The NCAA title game broke multiple records, and that continued when Clark and Reese got drafted in 2024. Many consider Clark to be the leading force for the WNBA’s recent success, and she backed that with the Rookie of the Year award.
This continued and even elevated when UConn’s Paige Bueckers won the national championship and got drafted as the No. 1 pick by the Dallas Wings this year. Paige also followed up her hype with the Rookie of the Year award. The three superstars have shared the court during U16, U17, U19, and other youth tournaments. Recently, fans again got a glimpse of the trio.
Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, and more were called up to the Team USA training camps. For a change, fans got to see WNBA rivals team up and give them a glimpse of the future of USA women’s basketball. It is fair to say that the future is in safe and capable hands.

During a drill, Caitlin, Paige, and Angel combined and took turns to shoot the ball. First, Clark passed the ball to Reese, back to Clark, before finding its way to Bueckers, who buried the 3-pointer. The drill restarted, as Paige passed the ball to Reese, finding its way to Clark this time. Clark also hit a three. This was repeated as the trio looked to work tremendously well with each other.
