Duddy and the Tennessee Titans quarterback met back in 2021, when they were both attending Penn State. They broke up in September 2023, a few months after Levis was drafted by the Titans in the second round of the NFL Draft.

What does the future hold for Will Levis with the Tennessee Titans?

Will Levis is set to miss the entirety of the 2025 season after undergoing shoulder surgery in July. Levis had been carrying a shoulder injury since 2024, after diving with the ball. He kept playing with the injury throughout the season, which aggravated his condition.

Shortly after the player decided to undergo surgery, the Tennessee Titans released the following statement about the situation:

“After consulting with doctors and his representatives, Will Levis has decided to undergo shoulder surgery that will sideline him for the entire 2025 season. We support his decision to focus on his long-term health. He approached the offseason with professionalism and showed clear growth as a leader. We remain confident in his full recovery.”

Levis finished with a disappointing 2-10 record as a starter in 2024. While some team executives voiced their support for him after the end of the season and recognized that, as a young quarterback, there was still much development to be done with him. They eventually went on to pick Cam Ward with the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

At least for the 2025 season, it seems obvious that Cam Ward is the Titans’ man for the job. How Ward performs this year will probably determine whether Levis’ future with the Titans is just as a backup or if there’s a path for him back to the starting job.
