The NFL Combine is underway, which means it’s time to release the first version of my 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. While I’ve actually spent a large portion of my prep time looking at Day 3 prospects, I’ve limited myself to 75 players in this initial Big Board, with the intention of expanding to a much bigger number by draft weekend.
This will change, but consider this my pre-combine 2025 NFL Draft Big Board.

Will Helms’ 2025 NFL Draft Big Board: Top 75 Players in This Year’s NFL Draft
A few notes here, that I think are worth knowing:
I have Travis Hunter as the No. 1 overall prospect if (and only if) NFL teams view him as a two-way player. He’s an excellent receiver and even better corner, but I cannot justify ranking a great, but not elite, receiver or corner at No. 1 if he’s not going to play both ways.
He’d be ninth on my board as a corner and 12th as a receiver, solidly in the first-round range, but not worthy of a top-5 pick.

Any team that take Hunter in the top 5 and plays him solely on offense is declaring he’s as good as Ja’Marr Chase, Marvin Harrison Jr., or some other recent generational receiver prospects. He’s not that caliber of prospect to me, unless the plan is to play him both ways.
Second, I have 18 first-round grades so far, with Shavon Revel being the last player on this list with a true first-round grade. My definition of a first-round prospect is any player who would be a first-rounder on my board in three of the last five draft classes.
This wide receiver class is not as top-heavy as some of the recent sensational classes, thus the lack of a first-round grade on any pure receiver prospect. I try not to be too influenced by positional value, especially in a class full of strong running backs, interior offensive linemen, and running backs.
Third, these rankings are based on film, advanced metrics, and production. I do not factor in rumors of off-field green or red flags unless they are both verifiable and proven to impact a prospect’s standing with NFL teams.
Finally, this 2025 NFL Draft Big Board will change and expand, with my goal being to have at least 300 prospects listed by draft day.

This year, that honor belongs to the Tennessee Titans, who vaulted to the top spot with a loss to the Texans and a Patriots win over the Bills in Week 18.
