After losing Dylan Raiola, Nebraska thought it was in the clear for a quarterback after Kenny Minchey committed to the Cornhuskers. However, a new report from On3’s Pete Nakos is now predicting that the Kentucky Wildcats might be flipping the quarterback, as he has not yet officially signed with Nebraska. This might be the biggest transfer portal flip for this cycle so far.

While the Wildcats and their fans are very happy with the move, many were not, and that included Nebraska Cornhuskers legend Will Compton. The former Las Vegas Raiders linebacker expressed his opinion on Kenny Minchey’s possible move and slammed the young quarterback and his agent for choosing money.
“Kenny Minchey just f**ked Nebraska. He committed. Was supposed to visit tomorrow. Agent had paperwork & said he was signing. Kentucky hit him with a blank check. Lack of honor & spine led him to switch before signing the contract. Agent complied.” he said.

Kenny Minchey was a quarterback for Notre Dame but entered the transfer portal after the team did not make the CFP. He initially had a verbal commitment to Nebraska, but soon changed his mind and flipped to Kentucky instead. Instead, Dylan Raiola’s backup QB, TJ Lateef, could be the new QB1 at Nebraska.

Kentucky Football Assistant GM Trolls Will Compton After Kenny Minchey Flip
Compton had not been happy with the situation unfolding with the transfer portal, losing a young and promising quarterback after being lured over by a rival school. The Nebraska alum had been posting a lot of his thoughts on the matter, and Kentucky fired back. To be exact, Kentucky Football assistant general manager Pete Nochta retweeted one of Compton’s rants about Kenny Minchey.
Husker nation….
It’s not good.
Brace yourself.

Minchey has also still not signed with Kentucky, however, so there is still a chance that another school might also flip him at the last minute.
