Will Campbell NFL Draft Projections: 5 Landing Spots for LSU’s Top Prospect

LSU’s Will Campbell is one of the best offensive linemen in this year’s NFL Draft. While a handful of teams need an offensive tackle, only a few will have a great shot at drafting Campbell.

New England Patriots – Pick No. 4

In many respects, the Patriots had one of the worst offensive lines in the league in former head coach Jerod Mayo’s only season.

With new head coach Mike Vrabel coming in, the team will likely emphasize the trenches.

The fourth overall pick could be high for Campbell, but his 6’6″, 320-pound frame could allow the Pats better to protect young signal-caller Drake Maye on the perimeter.

Jacksonville Jaguars – Pick No. 5

The Jaguars have a serious offensive line depth problem, and a first-round offensive tackle could be a great way to fix the problem.

Campbell is a tick bigger than the Jaguars’ starting offensive tackle, Anton Harrison, and could give him a run for his money in training camp.

This selection could help fix the team’s depth issue in head coach Liam Coen’s first season.

New York Jets – Pick No. 7

The New York Jets struggled to give future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers room to breathe while he was under center during his time with the Jets.

With Justin Fields being the team’s starter, finding a starting correct tackle would be ideal for Aaron Glenn and Co.

That is where Campbell could come in.

Chicago Bears – Pick No. 10

The Chicago Bears must identify their long-term answer at left tackle, especially as Braxton Jones is in a contract year.

Campbell could reveal that answer fairly easily if drafted by Chicago.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan and company need to find the future of the left tackle position, with Trent Williams entering his 37th season.

Bringing Campbell to learn from a future Hall of Fame tackle could be a great decision that may yield plenty of dividends.
