Mary Beth met Kirby in 2005 while working at the UGA Athletic Association Business Office, where she helped arrange his interview for the Bulldogs’ running backs coach position. The two married in 2006 and have been together for over a decade. The couple co-founded The Kirby Smart Family Foundation, dedicated to charitable efforts.
