Best Bets for Week 6 of the 2025 College Football Season

    Top Moneyline Underdogs

When looking at games featuring Top 25 ranked teams, most of the betting lines set by sportsbooks are good. However, there are a few favorites that could be primed for an upset. One is No. 10-ranked Alabama, which is playing against No. 16-ranked Vanderbilt. The Commodores upset the Crimson Tide last year, and now they are +310 underdogs again. With the Crimson Tide looking vulnerable, it could be an interesting bet to make.

Another interesting option is Florida as a +220 underdog against No. 9-ranked Texas. Quarterback Arch Manning has been underwhelming in his performance, as have the Longhorns as a whole. While the Gators have not been world beaters, they look better than their 1-3 record indicates, given their tough schedule. So, this could be an interesting spot to place a bet.

    Spread Bets

When looking at the spread betting options, one game stands out. The No. 2-ranked Oregon Ducks host the No. 8-ranked Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. Both teams are undefeated, but the Ducks are still a 10.5-point favorite. Even though we think the Ducks will win, we think -112 on the Hoosiers to cover the spread is a great wager.

Another option is the matchup between No. 3-ranked Miami and No. 18-ranked Florida State. Miami is only a 4.5-point favorite, and we think that is far too little. The odds to place a bet are -106, which we think are fantastic.

    Player Props

Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia seems to rise to the occasion when the pressure is on. So, we think he could have a big game against Alabama on Saturday. We love him to score over 1.5 passing TDs at +134. Pavis over 272.5 passing and rushing yards at -114 odds is also a solid bet.
