    Jarveon Howard delivered a remarkable performance against McNeese State University, proving a vital asset in his team’s offensive arsenal.

    Carrying the ball 16 times, Howard displayed his prowess as a dynamic running back, accumulating an impressive 98 yards and securing a crucial rushing touchdown. His explosiveness was evident with a remarkable long run of 51 yards, demonstrating his ability to break free.

    Additionally, Howard was able to showcase his versatility with two receptions for nine yards, highlighting his capacity to contribute on the ground and through the air.

    His performance was instrumental in his team’s success, picking up a solid out-of-conference win for Alcorn State University. 

    Defense: Ckelby Givens, Edge, Southern

    Givens proved to be a disruptive force in the backfield with an impressive 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. He consistently put pressure on the opposing quarterback throughout the game.
