Manning has definitely borrowed his dedication to watching films from his uncle, the legendary NFL QB Peyton Manning. In a 2022 interview, former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee revealed how committed Peyton was to watching films during his NFL career.
He watched “probably 20 hours of film a week” in addition to his team obligations, which played a big part in his on-field success.
Manning is also reportedly focusing on his speed and strength. Rumor has it that his 40-yard dash time is an impressive 4.5 seconds. It better be, as Manning recently made the bold claim that he could outpace the NFL’s fastest wide receiver, Xavier Worthy.
Additionally, NFL scouts believe it’s “realistic” for Manning to rack up over 3,800 passing yards and 500+ rushing yards in his first season as a starting QB. The 19-year-old is already feeling the perks of impending football stardom at one of the nation’s largest universities.
