Earlier in the week, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning competed in a humorous passing drill with social media influencer Shayne Boyle. In the now-trending video on Instagram, Manning is seen throwing a Marshmallow 49 yards down the field and into Boyle’s mouth.

Arch Manning’s Impressive Marshmallow Throw
The video shows Manning joking around with Boyle before the throw, various angles of the impressive toss and catch, and the celebration afterward. The clip reveals a humorous and light-hearted version of Manning that has not been too visible to fans throughout his young career.
“How far can @archmanning throw a Marshmallow?🏈👄 and who should we challenge next? #football #archmanning #collegefootball #sports #trickshot #funny #catch #throw,” the post was captioned.

Not only has Manning shown a new side to himself in the recent video, but he has also given fans another reason to be excited for the next campaign.
It is widely expected that Manning will become the starting quarterback of the Longhorns program next year after Quinn Ewers declared for the 2025 NFL Draft earlier this year.
Arch Manning’s 2025 Texas Longhorns Outlook
Manning is a third generation quarterback and comes from the legendary Manning family lineage. He is the grandson of longtime New Orleans Saints QB Archie Manning, as well as the nephew of superstar QBss Peyton and Eli Manning.
While he comes from one of the most accomplished families in football history, Arch is also a great quarterback prospect who appears to have a very bright future ahead of him.
Manning has a very strong arm and is extremely accurate, traits that allow him to make almost any throw on the football field with ease. In addition, he has a high football IQ and can read defensive coverages and schemes before the snap. Finally, when the play does break down, Manning is quite mobile, allowing him to perform off-platform when needed.

In limited game time this past year for the Longhorns while playing behind Ewers, Manning had 939 passing yards, 13 total touchdowns, only two interceptions, and a completion rate of 67.8%.
As a result, with Manning expected to take the Longhorns starting job next year, it makes sense why fans are extremely excited to see what next season and the future has in store.
