The Manning Passing Academy has begun its classes for this year, with some of the best quarterbacks from all over the country training with the “First Family of Football” to hone their skills. Some of the big names spotted training in Thibodaux, Louisiana, include Arch Manning, Sam Leavitt, John Mateer and Cade Klubnik.

Arch Manning is the son of the eldest of the Manning Brothers, Cooper Manning, and nephew of legendary NFL quarterbacks, Eli and Peyton Manning. He plays for the Texas Longhorns and is known for having an impressive arm. However, as shown in the video, he missed one of the practice passes, to the disappointment of the people watching.
Clemson’s Cade Klubnik also failed to connect with his pass in the video, but John Mateer and Sam Leavitt did. Mateer spoke about his experience at the football training camp so far:
“It has been a little surreal. I have never been a part of anything like this. I didn’t go to Elite 11… Being here with all these great quarterbacks and these geniuses of the game of football is awesome,” Mateer said.
Arch Manning’s appearance at the Manning Passing Academy came hours after he signed NIL deals with Red Bull, Uber and Vuori. He also extended his merchandise partnership with Panini America and is appearing in the EA Sports College Football 25 video game.
“I’m trying to get all that stuff out of the way before the season,” Arch Manning said. “Obviously, you want to take advantage of what you can and make the right decisions on partnering with companies, but I’m focused on ball.”
Arch Manning Talks About Choosing Which NIL Partnerships To Take
Meanwhile, Arch Manning himself has opened up to On3 about navigating the NIL space and said that he often goes “with his gut” regarding NIL decisions.
“I think I kind of go with my gut and see what other people have done, who’s done it the right or wrong way,” Arch Manning told On3. “I’ve got a lot of support with my family and go with my gut at the end of the day and try not to do too much.”
The Manning family’s next possible big star is expected to start for Texas next season. His NIL is valued at t $6.8 million, making him the most valued college football star in terms of NIL. He also confirmed that he declined to appear on the cover of EA Sports College Football 26, even though he appears in the game.
