With Colorado’s Pro Day wrapped up, Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is set to enjoy a brief window of relaxation—doing so in style—before his team’s Spring Game, scheduled for two weeks from now.

Coach Prime’s New Fishing Boat Turns Heads
When he’s not coaching college football or calling out NFL agents, Sanders enjoys hitting the open water. The former NFL star has previously appeared at the Progressive Bassmaster Tailgate Party, a fishing event hosted by Bass Nation.
At one of those events, Sanders opened up about how his love for fishing began—while mixing in a not-so-subtle flex about his NFL earnings.
“My stepfather taught me with a cane pole,” Sanders said. “The pole is hanging halfway, hitting the car behind us, and we used to go in these little lakes and these little creeks in Fort Myers, Florida, just to catch some bluegills, cheap head, and whatever would bite.”
“You know what I was thinking? If I had the whole darn lake, I could do whatever I wanted to. So every piece of property I’ve ever owned… I put a lake on it, so I can enjoy that moment that my stepfather tried to give me.”
Sanders has also said he’s tried to pass that passion down to his son, NFL-bound quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders, noting the two once spent an entire day fishing together.
Coach Prime Flexes Gifted $129K Fishing Boat
At one recent event, Sanders showed off exactly the type of fishing boat that suits his personality—and “style” was the top priority.

Bass Cat plans to gift the boat to Sanders, providing exactly the kind of flair the Buffaloes coach is known for.
