Former Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders rarely hesitates to have fun on social media. He likes to joke around with his friends and family members. The victim of many of his jokes is often his father, Deion Sanders, also known as Coach Prime.
On Saturday, Shilo reposted a clip of him talking on TikTok on his Instagram story. In the clip, he talks about what he would do if he woke up as Coach Prime for the day.
“If I woke up as Coach Prime,” Shilo Sanders said. “Coach Dad Prime, for one day, I would just make a trust fund for Shilo and just give it to him. I would do that.”

While Shilo Sanders jokes about wanting his father to give him a trust fund, he now has the opportunity to make plenty of money on his own. He did not get selected in the 2025 NFL draft like his brother, Shedeur Sanders. However, he was quickly signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
Sanders signed a large deal for an undrafted free agent. He signed a three-year deal worth just under $3 million. This coming season, Sanders will earn a base salary of $840,000 and also received a small signing bonus of $1572.

Shilo Sanders sometimes does not hesitate to make jokes, even about serious matters. Earlier this month, Shedeur Sanders received a citation for driving 101 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone. This incident drew a lot of attention from members of the football world. It has led to many media members questioning Shedeur’s maturity.
While Shedeur Sanders was dealing with this drama, Shilo did not do anything to help him. In fact, while doing a food tour in Tampa on June 22, he made a joke about needing to be safe when crossing the street if his brother is around.
“I know we out here in Tampa,” Shilo Sanders said. “We got to be careful crossing the street, especially if Shedeur is out here.”
