One of the biggest names in the NFL Draft this year will be Shedeur Sanders. But how is the Colorado quarterback being evaluated right now, and where could he end up being drafted?

Mel Kiper Jr. High on Shedeur Sanders
While on Get Up recently, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. spoke very highly of the former Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in Sanders.
“Everything about (Sanders) I love. Now, I think his arm is going to get stronger…Sanders, to me, may end up being a tremendous value pick.”
While Kiper has caught flack for draft grades in recent years and even this year, the current odds for where Sanders might be drafted support Kiper’s overall claim of Sanders being a great quarterback.
According to ESPN’s draft day predictor, Sanders has a 1% chance to be available at pick No. 21 when the Steelers are on the clock.
In other words, the odds of Sanders falling in this draft are extremely low.
Where Will Shedeur Sanders End up?
Going off of what Kiper said, Sanders has the right skillset to be a great NFL quarterback.
But now, it is all about the right fit.
As Kiper said on Get Up, he doesn’t believe that Sanders will fall lower than ninth when the New Orleans Saints are on the clock.
Teams like the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Carolina Panthers could all be looking to draft a top-tier quarterback if the opportunity presents itself.

While Miami’s Cam Ward appears to be the favorite in a lot of people’s eyes to be the first quarterback off the board, that still leaves plenty of teams to take a chance on Sanders.
The Titans could draft Ward with the top pick, while the Giants, at pick No. 3 overall, signed both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason.
So, perhaps the Browns could take Sanders with the second pick, seeing as they lost Jameis Winston this offseason and Deshaun Watson likely is not going to work out.
Then, maybe the Raiders at pick No. 6 could be the next best option for Sanders.
