North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Max Johnson is preparing for a bounce-back season after injuries stopped him early in 2024. While it has been a long road back for the QB, he has had a strong support system to help him get to this point. One of the people who has supported him more than anyone else is his girlfriend, Adrienne Davis.
While Davis and Johnson have spent plenty of time together this offseason, Davis has also spent some time with her friends over the past few days in Chicago. On Saturday, the Windsor Store Instagram account posted an Instagram reel with Davis and her sister as they showed off their bold outfits and boots that made a statement.

Even though Davis and Johnson are apart at the moment, they have had plenty of time together throughout the offseason. In early July, Davis made an Instagram post that showed just how much she enjoys being around her boyfriend.
“My favorite place with my favorite person,” Adrienne Davis wrote.

Max Johnson Starts North Carolina Training Camp While His GF Vacations
Adrienne Davis is having fun with her sister and friends, but Max Johnson is preparing for the 2025 college football season. The Tar Heels started training camp on Saturday, with head coach Bill Belichick in his first year with the team.
Max Johnson participated on Saturday after recovering from a gruesome leg injury last year, which he suffered in the first game of the season and was out for the rest of the year. This will be Johnson’s final college season before he enters the NFL draft.
During his media availability after practice on Saturday, Johnson spoke about how happy he was to be out on the field with his teammates.
“I was just so joyful to be out there today, I couldn’t stop smiling,” Johnson said. “I remember taking my first steps and just being so happy in that moment. I was just so happy to be out there today with my teammates again, I kind of felt like myself again.”
Max Johnson transferred to UNC from Texas A&M before last season, but only completed 12 passes before going down with an injury last season. However, he is now healthy and has a new head coach in Bill Belichick as he tries to stand out ahead of the 2026 NFL draft.
