“Alabama QB Ty Simpson has entered into a multi-year NIL agreement with Harbin Automotive,” On3 reported in a tweet. “He will receive a new Ford or Chevrolet truck every several months in exchange for promoting Harbin. He’s starting with a 2024 Chevy Silverado.”
As part of the deal, Simpson will have to regularly do meet-and-greets in the company’s name. Moreover, he will also have to promote Harbin Automotive any chance he gets and might even get a chance to star in one of their advertising campaigns.
“I am just so grateful to everyone at Harbin and truly consider them to be part of my team, Simpson told On3. “I love my truck and am proud to have Harbin as a partner.
Harbin Automotive’s owner, Will Harbin, also seemed quite excited to shake hands with the 22-year-old.
“As fourth-generation business owners, character and integrity have been the building blocks of our 85-year-old family business, Harbin said. “When NIL partnerships became an opportunity, those two things were non-negotiable for us. Ty embodies these qualities and more and we are excited to partner with him for the upcoming season and years to come.”
According to On3, Simpson’s NIL valuation is $666,000 and is ranked 60th in their Top 100 list.

Simpson is gearing up to step into Jalen Milroe’s shoes in 2025, with the former ‘Bama quarterback setting his sights on the 2025 NFL Draft. If Simpson secures the starting job, his NIL valuation is expected to climb even higher.
