Former Michigan Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore is getting more and more flak as new reports present evidence of his malicious intent. On Monday, Dec. 22, a report by writer Sam Neumann of Awful Announcing was reposted on X/Twitter that talks about a new activity that Moore was allegedly engaged in, which was different from his ongoing case with a university staffer.
The report revealed that Moore has had a year-long history of messaging multiple women on Instagram. It is reported in the article that Moore would specifically target individuals he’d encounter in sports media and send them private messages, asking them to meet him, as he said he was willing to arrange the logistics for them.
“The Instagram messages are separate from the inappropriate relationship with a female staff member that got Moore fired for cause on Dec. 10. He was arrested the same day on felony home invasion charges and misdemeanor stalking and breaking-and-entering charges after allegedly forcing his way into the staffer’s apartment and threatening suicide with butter knives,” a part of the report wrote.

Given that this is entirely different from his ongoing case, an alleged relationship with University of Michigan staffer Paige Shiver, there may be more punishment given to Moore as more evidence against him is being put to light. What makes the situation even more complicated is the fact that Shiver is actually the daughter of long-time Chicago Bears scout Jeff Shiver.
Nevertheless, it can be assumed that Moore will no longer have a role as a football coach of any sort anytime soon. In his final game at the helm of the Wolverines coaching staff, Moore led the Wolverines to an 18-point loss, 27-9, to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2025 college football regular season.

Sherrone Moore’s Wife Kelli Told Authorities That Her Husband Was Suicidal
In a report by Chris Spargo that was published by People Magazine on the same day, it was reported that on Dec. 10, Kelli Moore, the wife of Sherrone Moore, called up authorities to tell them her husband was suicidal that day over the fact that he was dismissed by the Michigan Wolverines program.
Sherrone Moore was eventually tracked down by authorities at a nearby parking lot hours later and taken into custody.
