Former Ohio State star running back is heading into his rookie NFL season with the New England Patriots. He was selected by the Patriots in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft after playing four years in college. He played a big role on the Buckeyes this past season as they won the national championship. He made 144 carries for 1016 yards and 10 TDs. That includes 12 carries for 49 yards in the national championship game against Notre Dame.
Fantasy football is a big part of the football season for many fans, and the play of rookies can have a big impact. Here is an analysis of TreVeyon Henerson’s fantasy outlook ahead of his rookie season.

TreVeyon Henderson Fantasy Outlook: Is He a Worthwhile Pickup as a Rookie?
When looking at rookies like TreVeyon Henderson, one of the most important factors for their fantasy outlook to consider is team fit and position on the depth chart. The New England Patriots are a rebuilding team, and as a result, Henderson should get plenty of playing time. According to ESPN, he is the second-string running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson.
Additionally, Stevenson is not an established NFL star, and as a result, there is a chance Henderson could beat him out for the starting job. Regardless, he should get enough carries to bring fantasy value. In his preseason debut, Henderson had the biggest highlight of the year so far.
In the first play of the game, Henderson was the kickoff returner. He took the ball 100 yards back for a TD.

Another thing to consider is the look of the offense as a whole. The Patriots will be trying to ensure their young QB, Drake Maye, is successful. A big part of the plan for head coach Mike Vrabel will be to have a dynamic running game. That should include Henderson. With a strong running game, more room should be open for Maye to succeed as a passer. As a result, if Henderson is getting a decent number of carries, he should put up fantasy points.
In standard redraft leagues, Henderson is likely not someone whom players will need to draft early. He should be available later in the draft and possibly even as a free agent for anyone to pick up. However, in dynasty leagues, he has the upside that makes him a worthy addition.
