“Didn’t Like My Scars”: When Travis Hunter’s Wife, Leanna Lenee Made Opened Up On Deeper Meaning Behind Tattoos

Travis Hunter’s wife, Leanna Lenee, is a known fan of tattoos. The 23-year-old has several tattoos throughout her body, with flowers being a big theme of her body art. While it might seem just like a personal choice, she revealed this week that there is a hidden meaning behind them.

In a TikTok she published on Wednesday, Lenee revealed that back in her teenage years, she suffered from depression, panic attacks, and anxiety. These mental health struggles led to her committing self-harm and the subsequent scarring from these acts.

“So the main places I did it were like my thighs and my wrists. So I covered it as soon as I turned 18, because I just kind of didn’t like my scars.”

Leanna Leene also explained that she thought it was poetic to cover something so horrible, like the literal scars of her mental health battles, with something beautiful like the flowers of her tattoos.

Travis Hunter talks about his debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 of the NFL

Travis Hunter had a successful debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars over the weekend, with the team beating the Carolina Panthers 26-10. While his stats were nothing spectacular, they were solid for an NFL rookie. Offensively, he had the most catches by a Jaguars receiver with six catches for 33 yards, while in defense, he recorded one tackle assist.

It seems that Hunter was happy with his performance, telling the press after the game:

“I was just excited and ready to go out and win with my team and just bring the energy,” Hunter said. “Like I say every day, every time you’re interviewing me, I’m trying to bring the energy, bring the guys up, and make sure we stay true to ourselves and just be the team we know we can be.”

Coach Liam Coen also seemed happy with the performance of the two-way starter, stating after the game:

“There were a lot of different kinds of coverage changes in the back end for us with some of [the Panthers’] formations, adjustments, [and] it was a lot that those guys had to handle defensively,” Coen said. “So, it was maybe a little bit less for him this game. I think it will only continue to evolve and go more.”

The Jaguars face the Bengals in Week 2 of the NFL. If they get the win, they will already have 50% of their total wins from last season. In 2024, the team finished 4-13.
