Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter and his wife, Leanna Lenee, are celebrating the cutest addition to their family as the couple welcomed their baby boy on Aug. 27. Lenne and Hunter were in a relationship for the past three years before they finally exchanged vows in a public wedding ceremony in May.
Soon after the newsbreak, Lenee gave fans a glimpse into the emotional side of the journey before their son’s birth. She shared a tender throwback video on Instagram, showing herself cradling her baby bump in front of the camera. The clip was paired with a moving caption as the new mom wrote,
“The most peaceful and beautiful experience of my life.”

Hunter and Lenne met in 2022 as the ex-Colorado two-way star was still a senior in high school. He reached out to Leanna on Instagram before publicly announcing their relationship on their YouTube channel.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star, who made headlines as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft in April, has already made a preseason debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, with fatherhood and a regular-season NFL debut arriving almost in unison, Hunter faces a life-changing year.

“Devoting Life to Jesus”: Travis Hunter’s Wife Leanna Lenee Shares Emotional Update Before Baby’s Arrival
Travis Hunter and his wife, Leanna Lenee, have been the talk of the town ever since their wedding earlier this year in Athens, Tennessee, at The Barn at Faith Farms. The couple, known to be high school sweethearts, tied the knot in a highly anticipated ceremony before stepping into a new chapter as parents.
One month before their son’s birth, Lenee shared a deeply personal moment on TikTok, reflecting on her spiritual transformation. The video, posted in July, showed her in tears during what appeared to be a vulnerable moment. The caption revealed Leanna’s intentions behind the post.
“I wish I could go back and hug December me,” Lenee wrote. “God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way. The amount you can grow and develop in just six months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is truly astounding. I wish the peace I found within Jesus on everyone who reads this. Your identity in Him matters, not how people choose to perceive you.”
While initial reactions sparked speculation about marital struggles, reports from Sports Illustrated clarified that the video was, in fact, a throwback from December 2024. Lenee’s post was intended to highlight her growth and newfound faith, not chaos in her relationship.
