Colorado Star Travis Hunter Faces Criticism From Fans After Flaunting $100 Bills

In a recent video that has surfaced on social media, Hunter can be seen showing his money to the camera and dancing.

The second overall pick is still beloved by many, but there are now some fans who are losing interest in him.

One fan responded to the video, saying, “Thought he was supposed to be a humble guy.”

While he is still a kid, he has entered a whole new world in recent years with the rise of NIL and now his arrival in the NFL.

It will be interesting to see how he handles himself moving forward.

Travis Hunter Looking To Emerge as a Star With Jaguars

The reason Hunter was taken with the second overall pick is because the Jaguars believe in the Heisman winner’s abilities on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

He caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns while playing wide receiver in his final season at Colorado last year. At cornerback, which some would say is his best position, he recorded 11 pass deflections and four interceptions in his last year playing for head coach Deion Sanders.

Simply put, the league hasn’t seen a player come into the league this talented on both sides of the ball since possibly Jabrill Peppers or even Charles Woodson. First-year Jaguars head coach Liam Coen will likely look to get him involved early and often on a Jaguars offense that could use his help.

The team parted ways with veteran wide receivers Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis this offseason, so they will need some more production out of that position group. Look for Hunter to immediately build a connection with franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence and give this franchise and fan base a real boost heading into the 2025 season.
