    Transfer Portal Madness: 2025 Spring Window Day Two Offensive Stars on the Move

    From former blue-chippers to rising quarterbacks, here’s a complete breakdown of the key offensive players who entered the portal on day two.

    Offensive Tackles

    Andre Roye (Maryland): The 6’6” Maryland native started seven games at left tackle for the Terrapins in his redshirt sophomore year.

    Rod Orr (Toledo): The Florida State transfer has yet to appear in any games in three collegiate seasons.

    Derek Jensen (Wisconsin): The former Rivals four-star recruit had a redshirt freshman season in Madison.

    Dylan Barbrey (App State): The 6’6”, 305-pounder had a redshirt freshman season in Boone, North Carolina.

    Interior Offensive Linemen

    Matthew Pajuste (Buffalo): The fifth year appeared in all 13 games in 2024, primarily on special teams.

    Marques Easley (Georgia): Easley appeared in two games for the Bulldogs last season. He was indefinitely suspended from the program following a March traffic accident, which led to his arrest and charges of reckless conduct, a misdemeanor, and reckless driving, also a misdemeanor.

    Will Larkins (Georgia State): The 305-pounder appeared in six games for the Panthers after transferring from Indiana.

    Quarterbacks

    Gevani McCoy (Texas State): McCoy entered the winter portal after throwing for 1,300 yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions at Oregon State. The redshirt junior also has three years of experience at Idaho.

    Zach Pyron (Minnesota): In the winter, after three years in Atlanta, Pyron left Georgia Tech for Minnesota.

    Steve Angeli (Notre Dame): The New Jersey native saw mop-up duty for the Fighting Irish last year, throwing three touchdowns on 36 attempts.

    EJ Colson (Purdue): Colson enters the portal again after leaving UCF in the winter.

    Andrew Maushardt (California): The California native is headed to the portal after a redshirt freshman season.

    Running Backs

    Seth McGowan (New Mexico State): McGowan enters the portal for the second time as an Aggie, entering it during the winter portal period in Dec. 2024, before opting to stay in Las Cruces. McGowan enters the portal with two years of college experience, having played the 2020 season with Oklahoma and the 2024 season with New Mexico State. As the Aggies’ lead back, he ran for 823 yards and three touchdowns on 152 carries, adding 23 receptions for 277 yards and three touchdowns.

    Brandon Robinson (Georgia): The 5’10”, 220-pound redshirt sophomore saw only 25 carries for 73 yards and three touchdowns with the Bulldogs this year, a big drop-off from his 68 carries, 330 yards, and three touchdown campaign in 2022.

    Jordan Simmons (Ole Miss): The Michigan State transfer put up career-highs in his first year in Akron, running for 664 yards and two touchdowns on 110 carries, adding 183 yards on 21 receptions through the air. He broke out a 73-yard touchdown run in a 49-17 win against Rutgers in week two.

    Wide Receivers

    Jamar Taylor Jr. (Temple): The 6’2” Florida native pulled 11 receptions for 80 yards in year one.

    Leon Washington (FAU): The 5’8” Washington is leaving the Owls after a season in which he hauled seven receptions for 54 yards.

    Javen Nicholas (LSU): Nicholas pulled in three receptions for 24 yards in his redshirt sophomore season.

    Tight Ends

    Tanner Koziol (Wisconsin — committed to Houston): Koziol, who committed to the Badgers in December from Ball State after pulling in 94 receptions for 839 yards and eight touchdowns, reentered the portal to go to Houston.
