Hiter was in Knoxville in early April and still has an official visit lined up for next month. He attended Tennessee’s match against Kentucky in November last year and claims he was blown away by the Vols’ atmosphere.
“It was electric,” Hiter told Volquest after the visit. “I mean, people are just together as a family, cheering for everybody, and everybody rooting for Tennessee… I expected big out of Tennessee, and I got what I expected.”
Hiter will visit Ohio State the weekend of May 30, Georgia the weekend of June 6, Michigan the weekend of June 13, and Tennessee gets the last visit the weekend of June 20.
Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Vols have always been good with the running game, and it’s no surprise that they are heavily recruiting Hiter. They had Dylan Sampson, SEC Offensive Player of the Year, who has gone to the NFL to start his professional career.

The Volunteers are less than 100 days away from the beginning of their 2025 college football season and are looking to build upon last year’s College Football Playoff appearance. Heupel’s side will begin their 2025 season in Atlanta as they face the Syracuse Orange at noon on Saturday, Aug. 30th.
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between these two programs in a series that Tennessee edges the head to head 3-0. It will be the teams’ first matchup since 2001.
